We have recently updated our web pages, and have included some new content which
may be of particular interest to owners of Fantic and Honda trials machines, and
also provide contact information for sources of parts for older machines, as well
as details of products and services available from Classictrial.
We have attempted to provide a few basic guidelines to assist anyone wanting to
improve or update a Fantic or Honda trials machine, and as these makes of bikes do
not require costly aftermarket chassis kits, electronic ignitions, or modern front
forks to help make them more competitive, the cost of upgrading is a lot more realistic
than most other machines.
Classictrial are able to carry out all of the modifications outlined here, and are
also able to provide a small range of specialist parts to help with improving your
twinshock trials machine. However we do not stock general parts, so please refer
to suppliers denoted on our links page, who may well be able to help.
Finally please remember that it is quite pointless trying to modify or upgrade a
machine in poor mechanical condition, and in general the costs of properly rebuilding
a machine in very bad condition, are likely to be substantially more than its final
value. This means that when looking for a bike, be extremely cautious about anything
that has been "rebuilt", as many bikes will be tarted up wrecks, which are often
offered on Ebay with shiny new paint and completely worn out mechanical parts!
